Intersection Gravity | Residential Building

The concept of Intersection Gravity grew directly from my site analysis. I noticed how people, bikes, trains, cars, and different modes of movement all cross each other at multiple elevations. That layered circulation became the core of the idea. I used it to shape the massing, allowing the architecture to physically express these intersecting paths and the dynamic energy they create.

In New York City, movement is essential for all ages, including adults, youth, and everyone in between. The train intersection on the site creates a unique energy, and I used that as an opportunity to design separate entrances for residents and visitors. This circulation strategy not only enhances the user experience but also makes the building more appealing to investors by organizing flows clearly and dynamically.

The aim is to create a connected transportation circulation, providing residents with direct access to local transit options while maintaining fluid and integrated movement across the site.
